Enamelling the process of fusing glass to metal has become my chosen medium allowing me the freedom to explore colour in my jewellery. I am particularly inspired by the tiny motifs and patterns found in Japanese textiles. I create my own imagery on the computer to eventually produce an enamel transfer which is overlaid and fired on to a base coat of enamel an intriguing marriage of a very new design process with that of the ancient craft of enamelling.
